Bonjour! It’s me, Mademoiselle! You can call me Madi for short. I’m turning 6 years old this year, and I’ve been waiting a long time for my forever home.

I’m just the cutest, snuggliest girl. Being picked up makes me a little nervous, but I love to be pet and snuggled and rub up against your legs. I could lay all day for some good belly rubs.

I am shy at first in new situations but in the right environment, I quickly warm up to be the affectionate cat I am. I like cubby holes and hiding spots that help me feel safe. Once I feel comfortable enough, I am outgoing and ask for affection all the time.

I like to climb the cat tree and scratch on my cardboard scratcher. I can be playful (especially if the wand toys come out) but I really prefer to cuddle. I have grown up with lots of other cats. I don’t mind sharing, but I get stressed when I can’t have a little space (and time with my human) to myself. I’m afraid of dogs. I’m good with big kids, and I’m getting used to the idea of little ones. I will be so happy to find my own humans who want to spoil me like the special girl I am.

I guess I should mention I have a few chronic medical issues. I have one eye that always waters (don’t worry it doesn’t bother me at all).  I also have some weird stuff going on with my ears. It can affect my balance, so I like to body slam into you for some extra snuggles. I get extra wax buildup that can be really itchy, but I’m good about letting you clean it. My foster mom can fill you in more on the details. My medical differences don’t require any special care, just something my family should know.
