Hi there, I'm Bandit! I'm a Shih-Tzu mix, born around 2/1/2023. A few months ago, I had a rough time when I was hit by a car and left on the side of the road for 7-8 hours. Thankfully, my foster mom found me, and I was taken to Live Oak where they discovered I had a fractured pelvis in at least five places. After some hospital time on pain meds, I went to my foster home for crate rest and therapy.

I'm now ready for adoption, but I have a few restrictions: no jumping, no long strenuous walks, and no jumping on or off surfaces. I also have permanent vision loss in one of my eyes from the accident and am on Gabapentin for a while.

I'm kennel trained and will let you know when I need to potty once I learn your routine. I can also use a pee pad if one is available. I might mark things until I get used to my new surroundings, but I'm easily redirected.

I shouldn't be in a home with dogs larger than me or small children who could fall on my back and reinjure me. My adoption fee is $175, which includes my vaccinations, neuter, microchip, and a heartworm negative test with monthly preventative.
